The Role of the Teacher Leader

March 29–31, 2007 • Hyatt Regency Orange County

Professional Development Conference for BTSA & PAR Support Providers

You are invited…

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2007 California Teacher Leader Conference. Each year we strive to create a place where you can take time to learn, reflect, network, and renew your commitment to education. The Hyatt Regency Orange County is a beautiful location that will allow for both structured and impromptu networking with colleagues.

This year’s conference was specifically designed to serve the California BTSA and PAR support provider community and its program leaders. Both new and experienced support providers will have an opportunity to share successful strategies and receive training and support for their role in coaching new and veteran teachers. In addition to offering the best sessions from previous years, we’ll have a variety of new sessions that will keep participants current with best practices from around the state in coaching, adult learning, observation, assessment, program leadership, working with reluctant teachers, Advance Content Standards 15–20, differentiated instruction practices, tools for assisting new teachers in the classroom, and more.
