This workshop engages SLC teams in program design that aligns SLC theme and high academic standards. Teams develop a clear idea of what they want their students to know and do as a result of intensive learning in their SLC and consider ways for students to demonstrate mastery of these interdisciplinary proficiencies. The Center for Creative Arts is a school-within-aschool that integrates the arts into core academic classes and makes art the focal point of the CCA student’s life at Irvington. The CCA works and can serve as an example of how to structure any SLC. All participants receive a CD-ROM.
