Dropout Prevention Specialist Certificate

National University offers outreach consultants and educators in California a unique training opportunity through a six-course certificate program developed in close collaboration with the California Department of Education (CDE), which prepares individuals to become a Dropout Prevention Specialist and an advocate in the lives of children.

Dropout Prevention Certification has long been a goal for many educators who are employed or interested in employment working with California's students, either historically underachieving or at-risk of leaving school prematurely. Individuals will learn successful strategies proven to help students stay in school and improve the quality of our nation's student graduates.
